Founded by a Nurse, Not a Tech Company
Nursio was created by a Nurse Clinician who spent 15+ years in the Emergency Department and 5 years as a Hospital Coordinator. After completing an MBA and 60 credits toward a Nurse Practitioner degree, he recognized a persistent problem: the tools nurses use for documentation and learning do not reflect clinical reality. Smart Charting was born from countless hours spent on documentation that pulled nurses away from patient care. The simulation features emerged from witnessing new nurses struggle to translate textbook knowledge into bedside confidence. MindGuard came from seeing colleagues burn out without recognizing the warning signs. Every feature in Nursio addresses a real problem experienced during years of frontline nursing across Emergency, ICU, Mental Health, and Telehealth.
