🚨 Bilious Vomiting in a Neonate = Surgical Emergency

Green or yellow vomiting in a baby <1 month is NEVER reflux. NEVER formula intolerance.

It is malrotation with volvulus until proven otherwise.

The baby may look comfortable. Vitals may be normal. That's the trap.

Without emergent surgery, the entire midgut can die within hours.

Action: Emergent upper GI series. NOW.
