🔢 The 5-Minute Rule: See It, Say It, Start It

When you suspect pediatric sepsis:

1️⃣ SEE IT — Complete TAPS, identify shock phenotype
2️⃣ SAY IT — Escalate with specific findings (use SBAR)
3️⃣ START IT — IV access, labs (lactate, cultures), prepare antibiotics

⏱️ Antibiotics within 1 hour for septic shock
Each hour of delay increases mortality.
